Shane Warne takes 700th Test wicket
Australia's Shane Warne has claimed his 700th Test wicket, becoming the first player to achieve the milestone.
Warne reached the landmark when he bowled England opener Andrew Strauss for 50 just before tea, which left England at 4-101.
The legspinner ran about 20 metres with one hand in the air as he celebrated the dismissal, before he was mobbed by elated teammates.
A huge crowd at the MCG, which had spent most of the second session cheering for Warne to be brought into the attack, rose as one when he grabbed the wicket.

Warne acknowledged the crowd by raising the ball in his hand.
The 700th career wicket gave Warne the perfect start to his farewell match at his home ground, the penultimate Test of his career.
The 37-year-old will retire from cricket after the fifth Test in Sydney, which starts next week.
Warne has now taken 187 wickets against England and 15 this series.
